Our Evacuees Visit Stansted House
On 19th April, Years 5 and 6 dressed up as Second World War evacuees and visited Stansted House, which was a home for many evacuee children from Southsea during the war.
They travelled by train to Rowlands Castle and then walked the last part of the journey across the fields to Stansted House, where they saw first hand how those children would have lived and what life was like.
