Travel Plan
To and from the school gate
Walking is a great option and now that the bridge linking the Berewood and Wellington Park developments is open, we hope that many more families will be able to make the journey to school on foot.
Cycling is encouraged and there are designated cycle paths and secure storage at school for children’s bikes.
Drivers please remember that the current speed limit on the development is 10mph and be aware that, on occasions, the road will narrow due to building work and that this will interrupt the flow and speed of traffic
Parking is limited and can get very busy. We ask that you
- Never park on zig-zags and double yellow lines around the building, or on the corners of junctions
- Keep the disabled bays available for those who need to use them
- If you are parking to the side of the school, please do not climb over the gates and fences to access the school building
Park and Stride
To help make the journey to school safer and healthier, we have a Park and Stride scheme for parents and carers who need to drive to school. Asda have kindly agreed that their car park can be used as a Park and Stride site, before making the rest of the journey on foot. More details and a map are in the attachement below,
